With “Delete Humanity,” the Kufstein Diaries youth theater collective brings a dystopian story to the stage that is closer to the present than it first appears.
At the heart of it all is a wristband designed to make people more efficient and easier to manage. What begins as a technological aid becomes a question of freedom, conformity, and control.
The play was inspired by the thoughts and concerns of young people regarding artificial intelligence. Straddling the line between theater and a vision of the future, the production explores how technology is transforming our daily lives—and what remains of our humanity in the process.
